[Hankyung.com Newsroom] CK Solution, a specialized engineering pioneer in ultra-low humidity dry rooms for solid-state batteries, announced on the 30th that it is officially and aggressively expanding its secondary battery dry room business.

Through continuous research and development since 2004, CK Solution’s dry room technology has steadily evolved from Level 1 to Level 3. While Level 1 dry rooms targeted general applications with a Dew Point (DP) of -32°C to -34°C, the company's Level 3 ultra-low humidity dry room technology has substantially advanced to achieve a DP of -45°C and below, explicitly engineered for next-generation solid-state battery production.

A senior executive at CK Solution stated, > "As high-tech sectors such as lithium batteries, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals expand, our order volume for secondary battery dry rooms is surging accordingly. In particular, South Korea's battery giants—including LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, and SK Innovation—are continuously boosting their overseas investments. To capture this growing global demand, we are actively expanding our core operations. Building upon our existing global network in Hungary, Poland, Guam, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the United States, we officially established a new corporate entity in Canada last month and have already secured major contracts worth approximately 150 billion KRW."

The executive further added, > "While dry rooms operating at a Dew Point of -32°C drove our growth until last year, we project that the future market will be dominated by ultra-low humidity dry rooms engineered for solid-state batteries, requiring a DP of -70°C and below. CK Solution is already leading this frontier. Starting with the dry room construction for the Samsung Future Technology Campus P4 Solid-State Lab in 2020, we have successfully completed seven major solid-state dry room projects to date, including the solid-state dry room facility for the Nanocamp Chungju Plant and the solid-state lab dry room for the Hansol Chemical Iksan Plant."

Since its founding in 2004, CK Solution has leveraged its extensive technical know-how and rich experience in the HVAC&R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) sector to supply critical systems such as Dry Rooms, Clean Rooms, and HACCP & GMP systems required across various high-tech industries. Driven by this expertise, the company has maintained an explosive revenue growth rate of over 50% for three consecutive years since 2020.

Capitalizing on its specialized technical edge in secondary battery environments, CK Solution is currently executing strategic roadmaps for further business expansion. This includes the continuous development of solid-state battery dry room technologies, global market diversification, and the construction of a brand-new manufacturing plant in Asan, South Korea.
