Environmental Management
CK Solution’s efforts for a sustainable environment and safety
CK Solution establishes company strategies and dedicated organizations in compliance with environment-related laws and government policies, including the Chemicals Control Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Based on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, we regularly analyze impacts arising from environmental changes such as regulatory requirements, changes in customer behavior, and natural disasters, and we protect the environment through our best efforts while responding promptly to safety incidents.
In addition, by developing energy-saving dehumidifiers that utilize refrigerants through technology partnerships related to cooling, we are contributing to carbon neutrality.
ISO 14001:2015
The ISO 14001 standard is an international standard for environmental management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to support a set of management activities aimed at continuously improving environmental performance across all stages of corporate activities. The Environmental Management System certification scheme is a system in which an independent third-party certification body objectively evaluates and certifies whether an organization’s environmental management system conforms to this standard.
Unlike other international environmental regulations, ISO 14001 evaluates the environmental management system across overall business activities and grants objective certification. This goes beyond simply confirming whether a company complies with environmental laws or international standards; it assesses how comprehensively the company implements environmental management, including environmental policies, implementation plans, execution and operation, inspection and corrective actions, management review, and continuous improvement.
ISO 45001:2018
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) refers to an occupational health and safety management system. While safety activities in the past were centered on safety managers, ISO 45001 is a system in which all members of the organization actively participate under the direction of top management. It enables organizations to predict and prevent risks that may occur in actual operations, maintain workers’ safety and health, and ultimately manage profitability and employee safety in a systematic manner.
ISO 45001 not only serves as audit criteria and guidance for occupational safety and health management systems to enhance performance in industrial health and safety activities, but also presents a direction in which it can be integrated and operated with systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
